The UK has moved to bolster its trade ties with Madagascar by offering near-total tariff-free access to its market, as part of efforts to boost exports and strengthen supply chain links with developing economies.

Mozambique’s government approved on Tuesday the resolution on Mozambique’s Tariff Offer for the Implementation of the Agreement creating the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).

The African Development Bank has granted Madagascar $1.5 million in view of helping the African country work on its adherence to the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), local media “Madagascar Tribune” reported.
